Matilda. Beautiful name Smile

celtictoast · 07/12/2015 21:24

Lydia is a lovely name and quite unusual. I don't like Matilda.

teacher1984 · 07/12/2015 21:29

Lydia is beautiful - really stunning, elegant name. I know one and she is lovely Smile

Matilda is a little more quirky, currently quite popular but not sure how well it suits a grown lady? Cute for a kid though.

LeaLeander · 07/12/2015 21:31

Lydia.

ashesandfire · 07/12/2015 22:09

I like Matilda but I love Lydia!

DreamBigGuys · 07/12/2015 22:30

I like them both, but think Matilda goes better with your other DDs' names Smile

IoraRua · 07/12/2015 22:33

Lydia.
Matilda is a bit bleh.

Oysterbabe · 07/12/2015 22:35

Lydia. I like Matilda but I think it's a bit overdone now.

gonegrey56 · 07/12/2015 22:36

Lydia. Think of the glorious book by H E Bates "Love for Lydia". Always my favourite heroine .

BikeRunSki · 07/12/2015 22:37

Matilda, I really don't get the Lydia -love

DramaAlpaca · 07/12/2015 22:54

I like both, but I think Matilda goes better with your other names.

LauraChant · 07/12/2015 22:55

I think Lydia is gorgeous.

TesticleOfObjectivity · 07/12/2015 22:57

I absolutely love Lydia and wanted to call my dd it. My dp said it was too similar to chlamydia so we didn't use it but if I had my way we would have. And I completely disagree with the chalmydiya comments.

dimdommilpot · 07/12/2015 23:04

Lydia biased

Sophronia · 07/12/2015 23:09

Middleoftheroad · 07/12/2015 23:17

My nan was called Lydia and I always wanted it for a girl. However, we had a Lydia start at work and her nickname soon became chlyamidia (excuse spelling).

whatdoIget · 07/12/2015 23:18

I've always liked Lydia. Very elegant. Matilda is nice too but I don't like it as much

GoldPlatedBacon · 08/12/2015 04:31
