Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Skyler is a girl's name isn't it? I don't like any of them I'm afraid; really not keen on these alternative girl's spellings with 'y's everywhere. Tacky.

LouisaRose31 · 07/12/2015 12:56

I love Sydney, but really dislike the spelling Sydni...

Sophronia · 07/12/2015 12:59

I don't mind Skyler on a boy, but I'm not keen on the rest. Are you from the US? They all sound very American.

AliciaMayEmory · 07/12/2015 13:09

Sorry, none are my cup of tea. Can you imagine shouting 'come here, Kolton!!' in the supermarket?! I think it is partly the spellings you've used but the boys' names, apart from Skyler, sound totally made up. (But I don't like Skyler either.) Out of the girls names, Kaitlynn is OK but prefer the spelling Caitlin.

Hastagwhatever · 07/12/2015 13:35

Skyler
Prefer Sydney as a spelling

hobitty · 07/12/2015 13:46

I personally don't like any of these suggestions. But YOU and the child's dad have to love the name - which one do YOU love? Diversity is what makes life interesting, so thank goodness we all have different tastes.

IoraRua · 07/12/2015 14:13

Oh dear. MN won't like these names.

I like Caitlin, spelled that way.
Skyler seems like a girls name to me - particularly reminds me of that annoying woman in Breaking Bad.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 07/12/2015 15:01

I'm sorry I don't like any but that said. It's not my bsby so out of the all the nicest out of a bad bunch is
Kaitlynn for a girl.
Kolton for a boy.
I do also agree that Skyler is quite effeminate.

NadiaWadia · 07/12/2015 15:07

Caitlin, spelled properly is nice. Not keen on any of the others, TBH, and the spellings are strange.

SilverOldie2 · 07/12/2015 16:32

All awful and the spelling of the girl's names are ghastly.

SpendSpendSpend · 07/12/2015 16:34

I dont like any of them.

They are all spelt wrong too

CelestiaLuna · 07/12/2015 19:25

How about Sailor/Saylor? Quite similar to Skylor and Sydney

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 07/12/2015 19:31

Nine of them.

Caitlin is quite nice.

Tiggeryoubastard · 07/12/2015 19:35

Pmsl. You need more subtlety here, OP. and welcome to MN.

toffeeboffin · 07/12/2015 19:44

You are on the wrong website.

Head for the sparkles, hun.

lunar1 · 07/12/2015 20:05

From your list I would go for either boy or girl. Just don't use them the wrong way round!

AnnieOnAMapleLeaf · 07/12/2015 20:07

None of them, I'm afraid. They all sound a bit "try hard" for my liking.

Pinklily1 · 07/12/2015 20:31

I don't like any of them either, the spelling variations are tacky.

Christmas2015 · 08/12/2015 13:14

Well I wasn't expecting the rudeness
