Poppy Rae or Isla Rae ?

At first we really liked Isla but as we have chosen Rae as a middle name from my Partners grandad was Ray. Everyone was saying is sounded like ira and it really put us off! The only other name we liked was Poppy Rae plus we know 3 babies been born called Isla recently! What do you think? Thanks

I much prefer Isla, but not with Rae.

I have to admit I'm not keen on Poppy, I find it very twee, but it goes with Rae better than Isla and I think your reasons for choosing the names are lovely.

Love the name Isla, bit it is very popular at the moment. How about Lila? It rhymes with Isla but less common and no ira :)
Like Poppy and it's a lovely tribute but it's a bit too cutesy so I just can't picture it on an adult sorry
