Just curious about what you think of this spelling - this was the original surname and it's where the name came from and can be used as a given name

Prefer Hallie.

Lots of people will 'correct' it to Hayley. It's not one of my faves, tbh.

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 04/12/2015 23:48

Oh, is it 'Hayley', not Hallie'?

Which name is it?

DramaAlpaca · 04/12/2015 23:54

I just think of Bill Haley & the Comets

TrinityForce · 04/12/2015 23:55

I read it as Haley = Hayley.

I like it, a 'fresher' version of Hayley.

celtictoast · 05/12/2015 00:14

I prefer Hayley.

schokolade · 05/12/2015 18:55

I know a haley. It's fine but she has to correct people a lot

DingleberryFinn · 05/12/2015 18:59

Haley is the male version, as in Haley Joel Osmont, isn't it?

squoosh · 05/12/2015 19:05

Hayley Cropper

cece · 05/12/2015 19:09

Do you say it the same as Hayley? If so why don't you just spell it like that? I would wonder how to pronounce Haley as it isn't obvious. Could by more like Hallie (rhymes with Cally)
