Is this a terrible spelling? I just think it makes more sense...

It's wrong, whether it makes sense or not is immaterial. Lots of words in the English language have illogical spellings.

BikeRunSki · 01/12/2015 21:14

It may make more sense, but it is not the standard spelling in English and he will spend his entire life spelling it out, and most of the people he comes across will still spell it wrong, which gets a little wearisome.

BYOSnowman · 01/12/2015 21:15

It looks like a mistake to me.

Loveleopardprint · 01/12/2015 21:18

As someone who has an unusual spelling of a name, please don't do it. I spend the whole time spelling or correcting my name for people.

PurpleDaisies · 01/12/2015 21:19

Just don't. People will think you can't spell.

Goingtobeawesome · 01/12/2015 21:20

Looks horrible. Some people will think you are thick.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 01/12/2015 21:20

Gorgeous name, but Matthew is so much better.

honeysucklejasmine · 01/12/2015 21:24

No. Spell it right or spell it very wrong (if you must) but spelling it just a little wrong will be the bane of his life.

LilyKing0909 · 01/12/2015 21:27

Ahaha, okay
