This baby's arrival is imminent (due on Tuesday).

We don't know what we're having, but these are the current frontrunners (with middle names). What do you think?...

Inès Estelle
Gabriel Michael

Other options are:

Ramona
Lois
Cerys
Merryn

Sebastian
Wesley
Hal

I love your girls names. DH is Welsh and we spent a lot of time living in Spain so all names we considered at some point!
Love Ines Estelle. Also love Ramona and Merryn.
I like Gabriel and Sebastian. Really dislike Wesley, and Hal is a bit meh.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 27/11/2015 10:27

Gabriel or Sebastian for a boy. All you're girls names are really pretty, but I'm not too thrilled about Ramona.
Not got an opinion either way with on Hal. Wesley is awful,

Wishful80smontage · 27/11/2015 10:35

I love both your top choices they are beautiful :) stick with those

celtictoast · 27/11/2015 10:38

My favourites are Cerys and Wesley.

hobitty · 27/11/2015 13:30

Ines and Wesley are the best! Good luck.

timelytess · 27/11/2015 13:35
Smile At this stage, you can call the baby 'Owww!' and 'Come out of there you little ***' and its fine, really fine. Why not get a look at him/her before making a decision?
Cornettoninja · 27/11/2015 13:58

I love Gabriel but can't convince dp, saying that I'm now 40+5 and don't even really have a short list Blush, I'm finding it really difficult to pick a name for someone I haven't seen yet, so would agree with the advice to see how you feel once your baby is in front of you.

ashesandfire · 27/11/2015 18:05

I like Ines, but not Estelle. I LOVE Ramona, Ines Ramona would be so cool. Or Ramona Cerys.
Gabriel Michael is great. I like Sebastian too but not the others.

CityDweller · 27/11/2015 20:13

I LOVE all your 'other ideas'. I desperately wanted to call DD Ramona, but it was vetoed as being too alliterative with our surname. Not so keen on the top runners. C

And don't worry, neither of my DC were named until they were at least a few days old and DC1 ended up with a name not on our 'list'.

momo142 · 27/11/2015 20:18

The only problem with Gabriel Michael is that they are both names of angels. At least that's what first occurs to me.

Then again, it doesn't really matter, and how often will they use both their middle names anyway!

yeOldeTrout · 27/11/2015 20:18

Ines is said
eeNESS
or
EYE-nez
?

Whataboutreindeer · 27/11/2015 20:19

Gabriel is a good name. Mine is 11 weeks old :-)

M4blues · 27/11/2015 20:23

Gabriel is great but Gabriel Michael is a bit too 'angel' for me.

Love Estelle with MN, Stella. Ramos is fab too. I really dislike Wesley.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/11/2015 21:16

I really, really like Gabriel Michael and I absolutely love Wesley.

Hal is dreadful (crazy computer in one of the most boring books I've ever finished).

Not loving any of the girls' names, sorry.

WanderingTrolley1 · 27/11/2015 21:18

I like Lois and Sebastian.

Ficidy · 27/11/2015 22:40

yeOldeTrout, we are going with the French version. It's pronounced Ee-nez.

Thanks for all the opinions everyone. Lots of food for thought there.

On a sidenote, no sign of this 'labour' ramping up a gear. My body has been playing tricks on me.

I'll let you all know what name we go with.

Love Merryn!

IoraRua · 28/11/2015 18:41

Your front runners are lovely, I'd stick to those.
I like the others, bar Wesley and Hal.

Ficidy · 06/12/2015 20:46

Just letting you all know that Gabriel Michael (known by Gabriel or Gabe - Michael won't be used in everyday life. It's just to honour a family member) arrived at 4.23am on Friday morning, 3 days overdue. He is sheer perfection and we are totally in love.

Thanks for all the help and advice. Our family is now complete.
