Help me narrow down my shortlists please?

Hello, I'm due in 4 weeks and the search for a name for DC 3 is getting increasingly more frustrating, especially as DH and I don't agree on anything. We've come up with 3 boys and 4 girls names that we both quite like (though not yet love!) Can you tell me which you like best, if any, and why? Many thanks

Christopher

Girls:
Phoebe
Georgia
Matilda
Louisa

I like all your boys names but I prefer Ben and Chris as appose to Benjamin and Christopher.
Out of your girl's names. Louisa is very pretty and I love Georgia. I have an irrational hatered of the names Matilda and Pheobe.

I like George and Georgia best. With Matilda in second place

Christopher and louisa is my choice, tbe others are ok too, but prefer these !

All lovely. With regard to the boy names, it depends how you feel about shortening. Benjamin will end up as Ben. Trust me, I have one! Same with Christopher and Chris, unless you get in there first with Kit or Topher as a nickname.

I love Phoebe. It's probably the most commonly used from your list. Louisa is very pretty and quite unusual these days.

George and Phoebe :)

George is fine but so heavily used at the moment your son might well be known as George S (or whatever your surname begins with) once he reaches nursery.

I hate Georgia. It seems a clunky heavy name to me. Matilda and Phoebe are OK but Louisa is elegant, not too common, and has scope for nicknames. Lulu etc

My favourites are Benjamin, Georgia and Tilly (Matilda).

I like Christopher, mainly because I LOVE Kit as a nn and would use that. I like Benjamin too. George (and Georgia) I find quite yawnsome, I teach loads of them. Georgia I also find quite clunky, I prefer Georgina.
I like Matilda but I love Louisa, it's so elegant and underused.
So, Christopher and Louisa.

Although seems like Louisa is a bit of a favourite out of the girls names and either Benjamin or Christopher out of the boys names. I do not mind Chris or Ben (dislike Benny though, makes me think of Benny Hill!) I still like George and do worry about it's popularity after the birth of a certain royal little boy, however where I am from I have not come across a single one either in DD class or DS nursery so perhaps people are shying away from it because they fear it's so popular? Hmm, so hard to choose!

Personally I like Phoebe/Louisa best from the girl options and Benjamin for a boy.

Christopher and Louisa are my favourites. I like Kit as a nn for Christopher.

Thank you guys. I'm getting a bit closer to narrowing down my girls list, thinking Phoebe or Louisa now, possibly seeing what she looks like, if indeed she is a girl! Still undecided about the boys though, think boys names are way more difficult.

Christopher is my favourite of your boys and Louisa for your girls. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of the others, except I come across them more often!

George and Georgia are the nicest by far.
I do like Christopher with the nn Kit though.

I like all of your boys names, my Ds is called Ben Christopher so they both get my vote. I do also like the name George too.

Girls names, I love Louisa but I'm not keen on the other three names.

Phoebe is one of my most favourite names.

I'd choose Christopher for a boy as it's not very common for little boys any more

I like Benjamin and Christopher, and would use the full name on the BC though might use Ben or Kit as a nn.
I'm not at all keen on George, and less so now with the royal child, it will be the Charlie or Jack of 2014/15

I like Louisa very much, pretty for a little girl and lovely for a woman.
Phoebe would be my second choice.
I think Georgia has had its peak of popularity and is declining now, and Matilda is still very popular, though both nice names I wouldn't use them.

I'm pleased people seem to like Christopher as I was a bit worried it's old fashioned (old mannish!) but I've always associated it more with the lovely boy from the Winnie the Pooh books. I think Christopher is kind of my favourite although we'll probably end up waiting to see what this baby boy looks like when he's here. I had hoped to avoid it this time around but I do remember our DD was nameless for about 15 mins before choosing one or the other. Sometimes they just don't look like a certain name if that makes sense!

Benjamin for a boy. It's lovely in the full and the shortened version. Chirstopher is lovely too but I don't like Chris so much as a nn. I'm not a fan of George.

For a girl, I like Georgia best (weirdly as I've just said I don't like George!), closely followed by Matilda. Not keen on Louisa or Phoebe.

Louisa for a girl, and I'm going against the general trend to say George for a boy.

No don't be put of by Christopher. It's gorgeous and s baby named Chris well that's just beyond adorable and very different now.

Thank you it's so nice to get feedback on names from you guys as I never discuss names IRL. Slightly superstitious but also the fear that someone will go 'are you serious, yuck what a horrible name!' Haha.
