Childhood- Shirley. Yes, Shirley.
My barbies were generally named after characters in Neighbours- Annalise, Cody, Gabrielle.
And I did once write a story about a girl called Viennetta. As in the ice cream. I was about 7.

grumpypenguin · 18/12/2015 14:13

Daniel and Isla.

I'm annoyed that Isla a) is overly popular now and b) goes hideously badly with our surname and my maiden name for that matter.

Girl: Heidi
Boy: Christopher

Alisvolatpropiis · 20/12/2015 23:20

Birgitta (I really liked the Sound of Music as a small child)

Can't remember having a particular boys name in mind.

As a teen it was Emily and James. James has been rendered forever unusable by my shit head not very nice brother in law having that name.

KaraokeQueenOfTheNorth · 21/12/2015 11:15

If 13yr old me had her way I'd have twins, a boy and a girl called Bonnie and Jovi Grin

binkybonk · 21/12/2015 12:20

I love this! I wanted two boys called Tibor and Troy Blush after some boys at a nursery I did work experience at when I was about 13.
Later on I still thought I would have 'eclectic' names. Then I had two boys and called them the squarest names ever GrinLiving outside the UK, the weirder ones seemed like a life sentence of spelling out their names and explaining the meaning and at the moment of birth I couldn't do it! Popped them in as middle names instead, that'll bugger up their visa applications Grin

Turquoisetamborine · 21/12/2015 12:21

Cassandra January Blush

When I was very small I loved the name Rita. I have no idea why.

If I'd been naming a child at 14, the poor thing would have been named Lestat, Raven, Lucretia or Annabel Lee.

All my dolls were called Sarah (unimaginative - was the name of my friend's little sister and I wanted one!)

I was going to call a boy Jacobi which I don't think is a name - not a first name anyway...
