Robin or Reuben?

...or neither?! Can't decide on our boys name. Like both of these & have also considered Miles, Sebastian, Dylan & Austin. Not too sure on any though... Help and other suggestions much appreciated!

I prefer Reuben to Robin. I also like your other suggestions, particularly Dylan.

CoolSummer · 16/11/2015 15:22

Robin.

Reuben is ugh!

NameChange30 · 16/11/2015 16:03

Robin

susurration · 16/11/2015 16:05

Prefer Reuben but Robin is easier to spell.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/11/2015 16:07

Robin.

I dislike Reuben.

Or Robert?

I like Sebastian and Miles.

Dylan is ok. Not keen on Austin.

ExitPursuedByABear · 16/11/2015 16:08

Prefer Ruben as a spelling.

BlueBananas · 16/11/2015 16:11

Reuben, Dylan & Austin (in order of preference) were all on my list with 2 week old DS
He ended up neither of them but Reuben would've been my choice is DP hadn't vetoed it
Love it!

roleypoley · 16/11/2015 16:40

Thank you! I feel drawn to Robin, maybe because it's less common. His big brother is Henry which I love but do wish it wasn't so popular. I've always loved Dylan but don't think friends & family are keen.

I think Robin is nice, I met someone the other day with a son called Robin and was gutted I hadn't thought of it! It's classic but a bit unusual to see these days.

RiverTam · 16/11/2015 16:53

Reuben. Should be no problem with spelling as there's only one way to (correctly) spell it!

I really dislike Robin as a boys' name.

CormoranStrike · 16/11/2015 17:01

I love them both.

I think Robin suits Henry a little more.

ExitPursuedByABear · 16/11/2015 17:03

There so is not only one way to correctly spell Ruben!

roleypoley · 16/11/2015 17:39

For spelling we'd go Reuben as it's the most common. I have an unusual spelling of a common name and have had it misspelt my whole life!

Reuben

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/11/2015 17:43

Robin - great name.

DurhamDurham · 16/11/2015 17:44

Both lovely but if I had to choose one right now I'd go for Rueben.

I know this is completely besides the point but I love the name Robyn for a girlSmile

Bishboshbash · 16/11/2015 17:47

Reuben, Robin just makes think of a girls name.

Sunshine511 · 16/11/2015 18:11

Robin definitely goes better with Harry. Both quite classic names Smile

cally0 · 16/11/2015 18:20

Def Robin! Henry and Robin goes together better X

chocolatecheesecake · 16/11/2015 18:33

Robin! I know both and Robin is definitely the nicer name that works well for child or adult

roleypoley · 16/11/2015 19:04

Thank you all! I agree Robin is also lovely for a girl.

Apologies, I meant Robin goes better with Henry. My phone decided to change it! Lol.
