I know they're popular, but I like popular names!

Emilia Grace Grin

Shesaysso · 09/11/2015 15:59

Olivia Grace. Think Emilia Paige would be destined to have a lifetime of wrong spelling of her name.

GothJoose · 09/11/2015 16:06

Emilia Paige

Tiggeryoubastard · 09/11/2015 16:12

A mix. Emilia Grace. Though i do live Olivia. Paige just doesn't fit in with the other names.

timelytess · 09/11/2015 16:14

Sack the Paige, it lowers the tone.
Olivia Grace is excellent.
Emilia Grace is good.

MrsLeighHalfpenny · 09/11/2015 16:15

Olivia Grace. Paige is awful, and I'm not sure that's how you spell Emilia. Amelia is better.

Emilia sounds far too much like Milia anyway - the little white lumps you get on your face sometimes.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 09/11/2015 16:19

Emilia will probably be very popular, because it's the name of a lead actress in GoT, if that matters to you.

They are all nice names, though.

Jw35 · 09/11/2015 16:21

Emilia grace is gorgeous!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/11/2015 16:24

Another Emilia Grace

VictoriaaaJohnsonnn · 09/11/2015 16:41

I thought about Emilia Grace, but I would use Olivia if we had another girl, after this baby, so I figured Paige goes better with Emilia (rather than Olivia)?

Anything but Paige :)

Artandco · 09/11/2015 16:50

Amelia Grace
Amelia Olive

EliGold · 09/11/2015 16:51

Emilia Grace.

pilates · 09/11/2015 16:55

All lovely names, except Paige which is awful.

Sophronia · 09/11/2015 16:58

Olivia Grace or Emilia Grace, don't like Paige at all.

VictoriaaaJohnsonnn · 09/11/2015 17:01

Everyone seems to hate Paige! Hmm

I much prefer Olivia to Emilia.
I think that people will confuse Emilia with Amelia; like a few others I don't really love Paige, and I reckon that nobody really uses middle names anyway (unless you want that double first name thing).

ByHonestWasp · 21/02/2025 01:58

I don't think you can start picking on names, maybe you aren't pronouncing it right as it doesn't sound like that. But don't think you should be the one to start putting negative comments on names. You're named after a duck 🙄

Paige, I also dislike - I don't like the sound and the meaning of young servant is not fantastic.

Olivia Grace
Emilia Grace
Emmeline Faye
Iris Emmeline
Ameline Charlotte

BootballJoy · 21/02/2025 08:26

I also really dislike Paige. Emilia Grace and Olivia Phoebe maybe?

I like Paige, but it seems quite different to the other names.
Grace is so popular as a middle name that ever other Olivia is probably Olivia Grace.
Emilia is nice but gets mixed up with Amelia, and gets written as Emelia.
If you have an ordinary surname, your DD might be one of several Olivia Grace Surnames.

I'd choose Olivia Paige or go for a different middle name, and suggest Olivia Emily or Olivia Penelope. I'm not a fan of the filler middle name.

KayEmAy · 21/02/2025 18:21

between the two my vote goes Emilia Paige - though I like Paige and Grace as first names more than the others actually :)

shoopshoopdedoo · 21/02/2025 21:03

Olivia Grace!

I don’t like Emilia that much. Love Emma or Emily, and like Amelia.

Like others, I really don’t like Paige.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 21/02/2025 23:30

Paige feels quite 80’s to me, where as Grace is every other girls middle name at the moment (who isn’t Rose or May in the middle instead) - it’s very generic. Are there any family names you might want to use as middle ones instead? Or at least names inspired by something you love (author, singer, film character etc). Unless Paige is a family name/inspired by something?

I like your first name choice much more (as personally I don’t care about popularity as long as they aren’t newly trendy, so very likely to date). Olivia and Emilia are both gorgeous Shakespearean beauties and tough to choose between. Olivia probably swings it for me because then she won’t have potential Emilia/Amelia confusion (they can sound the same to many), but Emilia does have more nn options if that matters…
