No - lots of parents share a name somewhere with their children.

NahItsOkTa · 04/11/2015 13:31

No it's not at all wierd. It's kind of nice.

AuntieStella · 04/11/2015 13:32

It's fine.

Unless your middle name is Sue.

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 04/11/2015 14:03

Not at all.

MyNewBearTotoro · 04/11/2015 14:06

Not weird at all. I imagine most people you meet day to day won't even be aware of your middle name. Even if they are its not uncommon for children to be given 'family names' which they share with relatives, including parents.

Minimaus · 04/11/2015 14:21

It depends on the name, I guess. But otherwise, why not?

celtictoast · 04/11/2015 15:00

It's fine.

Sophronia · 04/11/2015 16:06

It's fine, it's actually a nice connection between the two of you.

elor11 · 04/11/2015 17:40

Lovely idea. What's the name.

pilates · 04/11/2015 20:47

Depends what the name is.

Yika · 04/11/2015 20:48

Not at all weird in principle.

museumum · 04/11/2015 20:49

No. Fine. Unless it's obviously a female name.

FishOn · 04/11/2015 20:50

DH's name is the same as his fathers. Quite common I think.

...unless it's Beryl Grin

Is your middle name frank?
