We're still TTC but me and DP have been discussing name options...

Do you like it or does it remind you of the lion king? Smile

Very much so, but that doesn't mean it's not pretty.

Lottiedaydreambeliever2014 · 01/11/2015 16:42

It does make me think of the lion king.

madwomanbackintheattic · 01/11/2015 16:43

Totally Lion King.
Sister for Simba?

fastdaytears · 01/11/2015 16:47

I immediately thought Lion King before I read your post.
I did love the Lion King though and it's a pretty name. Where does it come from? (pre Lion King!)

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 01/11/2015 16:52

It's also zoellas dog

imsorryiasked · 01/11/2015 17:07

I know a Nahla, inspiration was the lion king, but no-one makes the connection
I think it's lovely.

IoraRua · 01/11/2015 17:12

Definitely Lion King.
It's pretty but that association would be just too much for me.

LetThereBeCupcakes · 01/11/2015 17:17

I used to help run a brownie pack and all of the helpers were named after Disney characters. I was Nala. None of the parents realised it wasn't my real name and none batted an eyelid when I was introduced. This was 10 years ago when lion king was still quite recent. If you like it, use it!

Peaceloveandpartyrings · 01/11/2015 17:22

It makes me think of Alan, which is not terribly feminine Grin

SoftBlocks · 01/11/2015 17:26

I've never seen The Lion King, Nala is quite nice. Rose is a bit hard sounding and very popular at the moment.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 01/11/2015 20:26

I never even thought of the lion king until you mentioned it. Me and dp are at the TTC stage.Been there 2+ years don't think it's ever going to happenHalloween Angry.
And I know from experience you'll go through 100s of names. Well at least we are. We change our mind every week. or keep running and ahhring over our short list.
