One of the 2/3 names we are considering - Alex - would mean all 3 of our sons names would begin with A . what do people think about this ???

I think its fine if you want to sound like the Kardashians.

Confusing for post.

Bad idea? Yes

ChilledAndPleasant · 30/10/2015 17:21

Both my kids have names beginning with the same letter and I joke we can't have a third because it would get ridiculous.

I wouldn't worry about it really - they won't be living in the same house forever so they won't always be the 3 As, they will be individuals in their own right (and are even when the do live in the same house/go to the same school etc!) .

APipkinOfPepper · 30/10/2015 17:23

I am one of 4, and three of us have the same initial for our first name. We all coped!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 30/10/2015 17:25

I dont like it, I find it twee.

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 30/10/2015 19:15

I think it's fine if the names are all different - like Alexander, Adam & Anthony for example.

It's when they're Alex, Alan & Ali that it's twee IMO.

Lunastarfish · 30/10/2015 19:24

I agree with Santa

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 30/10/2015 19:47

Third vote for Santa's logic. The post thing would be very irritating as well.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 30/10/2015 19:47

Yes bad idea... Think on to 18 years into the future and letters are arriving to Mr A Jones. (Which one,)

SwedishEdith · 30/10/2015 19:52

The post thing is very irritating but you've already got 2 As so do with Alex if it's not too twee.
