The list so far:
Hazel

Violet
Fern
To go with sister Ivy.

Any suggestions?

Apologies for the brevity. Typing in between vomiting and watching Strictly.

Tirfarthoin · 24/10/2015 19:12

Aster

Saw Trillium on here the other day, not at all twee

bimandbam · 24/10/2015 19:12

Rose is very now and I actually like it for an old fashioned name.

Tirfarthoin · 24/10/2015 19:13

Ivy

Muchtoomuchtodo · 24/10/2015 19:13

Daisy
Lilly

NorbertDentressangle · 24/10/2015 19:13

Rowan
Heather
Erica

Tirfarthoin · 24/10/2015 19:14

Ah yes I see a sister for Ivy, great taste Grin

HippyPottyMouth · 24/10/2015 19:14

Rowan
Willow
Daphne (maybe a bit old-fashioned)
Jasmine
I have a Hazel and people have been overwhelmingly lovely about her name.

lozengeoflove · 24/10/2015 19:16

No Daisy. One in the family.
No Heather - reminds DP of Eastenders Hev.
Primrose far too frilly.
Can't do Marigold - would sound like set of Downton Abbey.

Thank you for these suggestions Grin

Heather
Rowan
Violet
Betony
Bryony

SuckingEggs · 24/10/2015 19:19

Willow

LettuceLaughton · 24/10/2015 19:19

Myrtle is wonderful but Harry potter might have spoilt it. I hope not.

TheWoodenSpoonOfMischief · 24/10/2015 19:22

Azalea
Saffron

lozengeoflove · 24/10/2015 19:23

Taught far too many Lilly/Lillies, same goes for Jasmine, Poppy and Holly. In fact have at least one of each in most classes this year.
Bryony is lovely but reminds me too much of Briony Tallis - not a character association I could live with.
Willow - too twee.

Tirfarthoin · 24/10/2015 19:25

You couldn't really have holly and ivy anyway.

What about Oak, Ceder, Maple?

TattieHowkerz · 24/10/2015 19:26

Laurel?

lozengeoflove · 24/10/2015 19:27

Yes Tirfarthoin, as much as I love Christmas I don't think I'd want it all year round...

You could branch out and go for Berry or Petal?

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 24/10/2015 19:30

Lavender
Fern
Meadow (okay not s plant exactly)
Oak
Willow

lozengeoflove · 24/10/2015 19:30

Think I'm leaning towards Hazel.
