If I like Sadie for a girl, what might I like for s boy?

Currently pregnant with DS3 due in 4 weeks but totally stuck on boys names.

We already have two DSs; one with a very common name (think top 10) and one with a very rare name (less than 10 other babies born with this name in the year he was born). Giving the names here would out me so will leave it there.

We were originally told we were having a little girl and decided on Sadie only to be told 8 weeks later at another scan that it is indeed a boy. Now we are totally stuck for names. So suggestions people please!

Have lots of male relatives and lots of friends with boys so finding one that hasn't already been used is proving rather tough.

Have you had another scan? Ine of my best friends was told girl after 3 boys at 14wks. Then told nope, sorry, boy at 20wks. She was very upset but happy he was healthy and moved on. Out pops Thomas except he was actually Emily! It took her a while to bond after all the confusion and she now wishes she'd had a later scan just to confirm. I think it's rare they get it wrong esp when they say boy and it's a girl as happened to my friend but if you think it would mess with your head then maybe double check. Good luck. I have 3 boys and they're great!

hinkyhonk · 20/10/2015 16:05

We're having regular growth scans so they have double checked and it still seems yo back s boy. But if a Sadie did pop out we'd be fine with it.

Ohh M4 what are your boys called? And exactly how noisy is it with three boys.

The flavour of the names suggested are right but still nothing jumping out at me although our current shortlist are all on there which is interesting.

I've mentioned them on here before but I'll probably be outing myself again. Oh well...

Alexander-always known since birth as Alex
Jonathan- always since birth known as Johnny
Christopher-always known as Kit

A bit boring and plain and I wasn't keen on Christopher but it had meaning to DH. I loved Kit though and historically Christopher's have been nn Kit.

I thought we were done then out popped a very unexpected dd last year. I was gobsmacked! The pg was unplanned (I'm 45!) and when I discover she was a girl it floored me but it's different for sure.

Home life is chaos and I need to be very very organised. My boys are very different esp ds1&2 but also best friends. I wouldn't change a thing even if dd hadn't come along but then I do think I'm a more natural mum of boys. Some women find it exhausting but I love their energy. It keeps me young! Smile

What about Caleb? I had the name Sadie chosen for a girl but sad,y the pregnancy didn't stick - the boys name I had chosen was Caleb.

I love the name Sadie. For boys i love Zachary, Austin, Silas, Rafael, Elijah, Tobias, Micah.

If DS had been a girl he would have been Sadie. He is (the much hated on here Grin) Arlo.

I have a Sadie, if she had been a boy I would have gone for Jago, Guy or Jesse.
