I can only find a really old thread for the name Florence, so just wanted some fresh opinions on the name.

Thanks in advance! x

I really like it and like florrie as a nn too.

celtictoast · 09/10/2015 19:11

I like it Smile

It's fine. There seem to be a lot of them around so depends whether that bothers you or not.

aoife24 · 09/10/2015 20:39

Lovely, Flossie is my preferred nn.

Mclaren37 · 09/10/2015 21:02

Love it! We know a few in baby world right now, but that doesn't really matter. It was in our short list along with Margot, Matilda and Camille.

imsorryiasked · 09/10/2015 21:19

It's ok but I prefer Flora. I know two Florence's - one is known as Flossie and the other Flo.

Love it, beautiful name, beautiful place. Apparently it's quite fashionable at the moment.

LizzieMacQueen · 10/10/2015 17:53

Is that David Cameron's youngest child's name?

Yika · 10/10/2015 17:53

I like it, very pretty.

I also like Flora and Florentina, but Florence is the nicest.

scatterthenuns · 10/10/2015 18:03

My sister in law is Flora, and my Gran's name is Florence.

Both go by Flo Smile

I love it and it was on my SL but it didn't go with our surname.
