Brother for Naomi

So...we found out we're having a boy but finding it so hard to find a name DH and I both love.

Names I love but can't use are:

James

DH suggestions:
None!

Possible short list:
Harry
Alexander
Joseph
Jacob
Daniel

Any opinions on these gratefully received - also any other ideas for names that go with Naomi??

I like all of yours except Daniel (which I strongly dislike but can't figure out why ).

As pps have suggested, Ben(jamin) and Jack are both lovely names which seem to fit your style. Jack could be a nn for Jonathan if you prefer to do the full name on bc thing.

I like all the names on your short list. I especially love Joseph and Daniel. Both lovely with Naomi too. Reuben would be a bit more unusual and going with your Hebrew / Old Testament tendency.

My first thought for some reason was Samuel. I like all the names on your possible short list but think Jacob, Joseph and Daniel might go best with Naomi.
