Our final list...
Henry
Arthur
Albert
Sebastian
Gregory

Which works best with Georgia do you think?
Thanks :)

I think they all work except maybe Gregory, which is very similar.
Henry is my favourite, followed by the names in order that you listed them!

Thank you- My dh isn't as keen on Gregory for the same reason we're keeping the names secret in RL so good to get some input :)

I like Henry. When I read the title my first thought was Harry :)

Relax with the thread bumping, there hadn't been much of a gap in posting there.

Henry and Arthur are my faves from your list. I would have picked Gregory but too similar to Georgia.
But tbf it's not like they'll spend all their lives as a unit, they'll be known separately from their sibling so I'm not too concerned about matchiness.

Henry

Lunastarfish · 26/09/2015 16:19

Sebastian is my favourite from your list

BlueChampagne · 26/09/2015 21:53

Sebastian

nauticant · 26/09/2015 21:58

All good apart from Gregory. Which would be fine as a stand alone name.

The reason you're not getting traffic is that you're not suggesting bonkers names that would be a lifetime of irritation for some poor child.

RiaOverTheRainbow · 26/09/2015 22:01

Arthur's my favourite. Not a huge fan of Albert but I know it's getting popular again.

Thomas was the first name that came to mind on reading the thread title, if you wanted extra ideas.

mathanxiety · 27/09/2015 06:42

Henry or Albert.

Whoknewitcouldbeso · 27/09/2015 08:08

My son is called Sebastian. We are thinking of Arthur for DS2. DP also likes Henry lol do I think we are on the same page for baby names.

BikeRunSki · 27/09/2015 08:16

I love Gregory, and don't think it's too similar to Georgia at all! Gregory has a hard G, Georgia - soft G, different sounds completely. Would Gregory still be rules out if your DD was called Jemima?

If it's an initial thing, I don't think that's a problem either. I grew up with a brother with the same initial as me, no problems; now DH, DD and I have all the same initials - still no problem.

Twowrongsdontmakearight · 27/09/2015 08:16

Gosh. What goes around comes around doesn't it?

Doing family history and my great grandfather and 1 brother were Arthur and Albert!

Rosaaa · 27/09/2015 17:24

I like Arthur and Sebastian from your list.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 27/09/2015 17:26

Henry or Sebastian.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/09/2015 21:15

Gregory
Then Arthur
Then Sebastian

I really don't like Henry or Albert, sorry.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/09/2015 21:16

Ahh - Gregory not good with Georgia though.

whatdoIget · 27/09/2015 21:19

Henry or Sebastian

helentheheron · 27/09/2015 21:25

Arthur or Sebastian.

The only one I'm really not keen on from your list is Henry which I find really posh and snotty sounding. It's very popular though so I guess I'm in the minority.

CakeRattleandRoll · 28/09/2015 01:02

Henry is my favourite.

Sophronia · 30/09/2015 16:39

I like Albert

Wishful80smontage · 30/09/2015 18:39

Thank you for comments. I also really like Charles but have ruled out on the basis that I really dislike 'Charlie' and can't control what he gets called at secondary school etc. good to have the feedback
