Magwen for a girl?

Am thinking waaaay ahead (good thing I'm not superstitious!) but what do you think of this? I think it's Welsh. Could be Mags for short?

It's really ugly, sorry. What about Madlen or Madryn?

Just checked my welsh dictionary to see if there was anything for mag. The suggestions were bag (mutated form) or trap (magl).

I know a Tanwen and an Anwen. Both grand names.

Tanwen and Anwen are both nice.

Bronwyn would be a boys' name - the suffix 'sun' is masculine. Bronwen is a girls' name (and as lovely one).

Although I love Maggie - and would use Margaret as the given name
