Do you associate some names with certain hair/eye colours?

I don't like to pick a name for a DC until they are born and I know what their colouring is like.

For me some names I like would suit a darker haired DC and vice versa.

I mentioned this to a friend who thinks it's weird for me to think like that.

Do other people wait and see what a DC looks like to pick a name or do you decide in utero and stick with it?

Jane for me is brown haired, as are Alice and Anna. Don't have a clear picture of Louise!

I love the names Bruno and Hazel but wouldn't use them on blonde blue eyed DC

Jessica seems a blonde name to me too but maybe only because of the Wakefield twins in Sweet Valley High!

I know what you mean, but DD was born with a thatch of thick black hair and within 3 months was blonde (and still is at 2) so naming her according to her colouring wouldn't have worked! And DD2 was born completely bald ??

Aren't all babies orb with blue eyes though?

And do agree about the hair colour my d's was dark for the first 4 months then turned blonde.

Oh right !

Both my babies were born with dark eyes. DD's were practically black (chocolate brown now). We're white but all have brown hair and tendency to tan easily.
