I just read on netmums another website a list of edible baby names. They had 17, including some very questionable ones;

Madeleine
Clementine
Basil
Nutella
Kipper
Honey
Maple
Pippin
Berry
Brie
Candy
Cocoa
Anise
Bean
Amandine
Pepper
Apple.

I thought of Rosemary and Saffron. Can you think of any?

Jasmine?

NationMcKinley · 15/09/2015 22:11

Or is it Jasmin? Confused

KittiesInsane · 15/09/2015 22:14

I suppose at a pinch you could eat any of these birds:
Robin, Wren, Mavis, Peregrine, Martin

KittiesInsane · 15/09/2015 22:15

Can you eat Jasmine, Nation? I didn't know that!

Yika · 15/09/2015 22:16

Sorrell
Laurel
Mirabelle

NationMcKinley · 15/09/2015 22:18

I'm thinking of Jasmin/e rice and tea - is that made with actual jasmin/e do you think? I shall consult Google and report back!

Also, what about juniper? Are we allowed drinks? Grin

TheOnlyOliviaMumsnet · 15/09/2015 22:19

Are these including SURNAMES?
Has anyone actually heard of a first name bean?!?

NationMcKinley · 15/09/2015 22:20

And with an e!

Caesar
Ambrosia
(Quiche) Lorraine

acsec · 15/09/2015 22:22

I met a couple with a baby girl called Cinnamon

KittiesInsane · 15/09/2015 22:23

Careful with that laurel, Yika, the ordinary garden sort is poisonous! Bay laurel (Laurus nobilis) is good stuff though.

Jasmine tea sounds entirely allowable to me.

KittiesInsane · 15/09/2015 22:24

How about Alexander[s]? Only slightly cheating...
