Boys Names - Unusual but not Weird?

Hello! DH & I have discussed names on and off since long before we decided to start trying, and have about a zillion girls names to choose from, but we struggle with names for a boy.

My absolute all time favourite doesn't go with our surname at all, his favourite is far too wacky, and another few have already been 'taken' by family or close friends.

It seems most names I suggest DH can come up with someone we know/knew/have heard of who isn't a nice guy!

So far I have a few on a shortlist that neither of us actually hate. Any opinions?

Ansel
Arlo
Cole
Sebastian
Ethan (but begins with same letter as our surname. His initials would forever remind me of Kevin Bacon [hmmm]

I know nothing about the kardadhisns other than that one is called Kim and they go reality TV?!? But where DH is from in Scotland, there are many handsome young men called Brodie.

I have heard of Rowan for both boys and girls and I know that puts some people off but 2 of my boys are Kit & Nicky so obv that goes over my head.
My friend had a baby 10dsys ago and named him, Hugo. Her other DS is Hamish. Hamish and Hugo both sound very posh Smile

I like Arlo, Mylo, what about Cody?

I know several baby Ethans: I think it's becoming very popular now.

How about Jefferson, Conrad, Conan, Evander, Ingram?
