I'm torn between two names for baby girly due in a few weeks, love them both, hoping you lovely ladies out there can help :) What do you think of them & do you prefer one to the other?
Eva Josephine Fox
Imogen May Fox

I prefer Imogen :)

Both nice, but I prefer Imogen.

Tiggeryoubastard · 28/08/2015 09:02

Both absolutely fine, Imogen Fox runs together better than Eva Fox. Keep both in mind and see which one she looks like. I have a colleague and a neighbour that each has a child under 2 with one those names.

Tiggeryoubastard · 28/08/2015 09:02

One of those names.

TendonQueen · 28/08/2015 09:17

Imogen Fox has a nice rhythm to it. Eva is nice but may become Evie. I prefer Josephine of your middle names but you're right about the combos and they wouldn't go the other way round.

reuset · 28/08/2015 10:00

Imogen

BertrandRussell · 28/08/2015 10:03

I realise that you're not asking for different suggestions- but I think Imogen Mary Fox flows better than Imogen May Fox..........

Sophronia · 28/08/2015 10:29

I prefer Eva Josephine.

KTlee · 28/08/2015 11:15

Is Imogen Eva not an option. That would get my vote

susurration · 28/08/2015 11:23

Imogen Fox flows nicely.

Squooshed · 28/08/2015 11:33

Imogen Fox is a lovely name.

Costacoffeeplease · 28/08/2015 11:33

Do not call your baby Josephine - it's my middle name, I hate it with a passion and have never forgiven my parents for giving me it

19lottie82 · 28/08/2015 11:40

Imogen. Eva is pretty common these days, there will be at LEAST one other girl in her class with the same name.

emmav6 · 28/08/2015 13:03

thnk-you so much for all your replies. My nan was eva may & my mum is josephine so would love to involve one of these lovely names somewhere. I do like Imogen eva too but wasn't sure how it flowed. Imogen has stayed on top of our list for the pregnancy but not sure if it would get shortened.
Such a big decision :-S

Personally I don't think flow matters when it comes to first names and middle names, how often are they said together? Pick the one you like best.

Flow between first name and surname is much more important.

BitOutOfPractice · 28/08/2015 13:16

I LOVE Imogen and Imogen Fox sounds like a film star!

Congrats on your impending baby Thanks

CakeRattleandRoll · 30/08/2015 04:15

Agree - Imogen Eva is lovely and it's nice to have a first name that is all 'her own'.

BikeRunSki · 30/08/2015 05:41

Imogen.

Josephine is one of my favourite names.
