Romy to me seems unfinished, as though it should be short for something (although no idea what). That said, I'm a fan of less popular names so go for it!

Efferlunt · 05/08/2015 22:21

I've heard it used on here as short for Rosemary but never anywhere else!

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 05/08/2015 22:23

Yes, short for Rosemary or Romilly? I do like it though.

PrincessOfChina · 05/08/2015 22:25

I love it. We have a Romilly who I suspect will become one in her teen years.

BreeVDKamp · 05/08/2015 22:26

Love, I have a friend called Romina who is sometimes calle Romi :)

lucidlady · 05/08/2015 22:26

My friend has a Romy, short for Romilly. It's a lovely name.

BreeVDKamp · 05/08/2015 22:27

Do you want it pronounced Rommy or Rome-y? The one I know is the latter but Romilly etc I'd imagine would get shortened to the former.

Sophronia · 05/08/2015 22:32

I like it short for Rosemary or Romina.

DancingLady · 10/08/2015 20:51

Love it, it's DD's middle name.

There's only one way to pronounce it - Rome-y. NEVER heard it said Rommy.

RabbitSaysWoof · 10/08/2015 20:53

I really like it.
