Romy to me seems unfinished, as though it should be short for something (although no idea what). That said, I'm a fan of less popular names so go for it!

Yes, short for Rosemary or Romilly? I do like it though.

My friend has a Romy, short for Romilly. It's a lovely name.

Do you want it pronounced Rommy or Rome-y? The one I know is the latter but Romilly etc I'd imagine would get shortened to the former.

There's only one way to pronounce it - Rome-y. NEVER heard it said Rommy.
