Hi all Smile

Im 27 weeks with dc2. Dont know what we are having and would like some opinions on our shortlist. dc1 is called Louisa so would obviously want something that goes with that!

For Girls:
Rosalie
Amelia
Charlotte
Alice

For Boys:
Stewart
Matthew
Ewan

Are very very open to suggestions... Especially when it comes to boys names!

Amelia-very popular. The -a sky fact the end is also v similar to Louisa

Typo alert! That should say, 'the -a sound at the end...'

If you liked Louisa, what about Laura or maybe Julia ?

FatSwan · 06/08/2015 00:09

Rosalie-a fairytale character (good thing in my books)

Amelia- Love it, pretty

Charlotte- Princess

Alice- Wonderland

Stewart- First boyfriend... Good guy.

Matthew-nice

Ewan-McGregor

I like Alice.

Really don't think those boys' names go with Louisa. I'd pick something like Thomas, James or Edward - I.e. Traditionally English

I think i love Alice Rosalie, its just so pretty! Was talkingnto DH last night about boys names and we also like Daniel, Gregory (nn Greg obviously) and Nicholas... What are peoples thoughts on these?

I like Gregory. And Matthew.
Prefer Owen to Ewan (they are versions of the same name).
I'd be inclined to use Stewart as a mn since it's your Dad's name, and give DC their 'own' name.
What about Andrew, Peter, Edward, Martin?

My favourite of your girl's names is Rosalie, although prefer Rosanna. What about Marissa, Audrey, Josephine, Genevieve?

Rosalie is lovely and reminds me of the Chalet School books.
