My boy names list

Hi all! First post on the baby names boards. 18 weeks pregnant with dc1, who is a little boy! I'm keen to have a list of names rather than just one, so we can see which fits best when he's born. Here's my/our list, thoughts?

Seth (both love)
Lucas (both love)
Heath (both like)
Jude (I prefer, dh not so keen)
Leo (dh hates so this has been veto'd, want to include it as I love it though!)

Dh likes Jack and Jacob which although are nice names are too "ordinary" for my taste.

Lucas, Heath and Jude all are nice strong manly names.

I love Heath and Seth. I don't mind Leo. I don't like Jude or Lucas.

Like them all but Lucas n Leo r becoming verrrry popular so bear that in mind.

Other than Heath I like all your suggestions. Lucas is my favourite

Lucas and Leo are my favourites, but if you both love Seth and Lucas maybe you should choose between those two?

I really like Lucas.

I like Jack as well but there are many around.

I like Seth and Leo.

I wouldn't go with Heath now.

Have you seen the allegations about Edward Heath in the news this week?

If they turn out to true he will be talked about for years to come, and at some point your DS will start noticing someone with the same name as him being described in the media as the worst type of twisted criminal.

Not an association i'd like my child to have with their name, nor one i'd feel comfortable explaining to a child.

Seth or Judas. Lucas and Leo are ok. Not keen on Heath

I love Jacob and Jude. Seth, Lucas and Jack are all good names too.

If Jacob is too ordinary I'd maybe re-think Lucas, because that's just as popular/used/ordinary as Jacob. Personally I know far more Luke and Lucas's than Jake or Jacob's.

Lucas sounds too much like mucus but Luca is nice. I like the name leo a lot. My dh likes Leon.

Your names sound a little Australian surfery to me. So others I can think of are Logan
