Hello,

DD1 is due later this year and my current favourite name for her is Betty (with Elizabeth on the birth certificate if she wants to switch to this when she's older). That said, I'm Becky and I'm wondering if this will lead to any confusion? Any thoughts welcome!

I wouldn't worry about it. Her nickname may evolve into something more distinct. You can't always predict these things.

I don't think it would be confusing I'm assuming you are a Rebecca. Go for it if that's what you want my dd is called Elizabeth

Crumbelina · 20/07/2015 16:52

Thanks both! Yes, I'm Rebecca. I might start using it more now I'm getting on a bit. Smile Elizabeth was also my grandmother's name and she was known as Betty.

presumably at home you'll mostly be 'mum'

Peacheykeen · 20/07/2015 17:12

Ah yes good point pink pyjamas from now on get used to being called mum or bettys mum lol

Crumbelina · 20/07/2015 17:19

Of course! I'll have to get used to being Betty's Mum. DC1 - so much to learn. Smile
