Freya, definitely.

Jojay · 20/07/2015 08:33

Phoebe is lovely.

BikeRunSki · 20/07/2015 08:35

I know sisters called Phoebe and Freya. I'd chose Freya, much less popular, Phoebe is very well used.

thequickbrownfox · 20/07/2015 08:36

Freya!

scarletforya · 20/07/2015 08:37

Phoebe.

Freya is a bit noughties.

GotTheKey · 20/07/2015 08:37

Freya

VixxFace · 20/07/2015 08:52

Freya!

No nicknames I can think if but they are supposed to develop naturally and may be nothing to do with your babies actual name.

LadyLuck81 · 20/07/2015 08:54

I have a Phoebe and her two friends at nursery are both Freya and I know two other Freya's locally. I think both are lovely names but my local area is having a Freya boom so if still choose Phoebe.

BothEndsBurning · 20/07/2015 11:00

Phoebe. (Because I really dislike Freya.)

Lolly86 · 20/07/2015 11:02

Freya it's my favourite name in the world (and my DDs )Grin

LooseSeal · 20/07/2015 11:07

DD has a very good friend called Freya, DD's nickname for her is Frey-Frey, not sure if that's the kind of nickname you're after though Grin.

reuset · 20/07/2015 11:17

Phoebe. Freya is very trendy.

reuset · 20/07/2015 11:17

That's it. Noughties trendy, Freya!

TheEmpressofBlandings · 20/07/2015 11:19

I'd say the exact opposite to the PP, I know LOADS of Freyas and no Phoebes. I think Freya is a lovely name but very overused. It's almost as popular as Evie where we live.

sweetpeame · 20/07/2015 12:03

Prefer Freya to Phoebe (don't like Phoebe at all actually). But Freya is popular if that bothers you. I don't know any Phoebes but have come across plenty of Freya's. It's definitely "on trend" at the moment.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 20/07/2015 12:10

There are zillions of Freyas now. I know one who became a goth as a teenager and changed her name to Flayer.

So, Phoebe. Which is a lovely name.

Both of those names are goddesses, maybe you could come up with some more names on the same theme you might both like? Athena, Artemis, Selene, Hera, there are loads.

crapfatbanana · 20/07/2015 12:26

I know lots of Freyas and a few Phoebes too. I like Phoebe more.

How about Frieda? Philomena?

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 20/07/2015 12:31

Freya

Junosmum · 20/07/2015 15:38

Phoebe. You could nick name her princess consuela. That was a joke, but I do love Phoebe.

I know lots of Freya's.

dontcallmelen · 20/07/2015 16:03

Faye instead of Freya? Sorry not keen on Phoebe, dont like the sound it makes.

barbecue · 20/07/2015 19:52

Phoebe, definitely.

Freya is quite faddy.
