Middle name?

I know a little boy called Eden. Really suits him.

Both my niece and my cousins daughter called their daughters Eden Olivia
Neither knew what names the other had decided in until they announced the birth and name

I think of it as a girls name.

I have known one of each. Both teenagers when I knew them but the boy will be in his twenties now.

I think it's more masculine. There was a male singer in the 60s called Eden Kane which was my earliest recollection of it. But I've never met anyone, male or female, called Eden.

Oooh what a lovely name. I like the fact that it could work for either gender, neither too masculine nor feminine for either. Would work well with a longer, more flowing middle name.

I definitely see it as a boys name.

To me it sounds very feminine so I definitely wouldn't use it for a boy. In actual fact I wouldn't use it for a girl either, I think it sounds quite faddy (even if it's not).

Sounds more feminine to me, though I know it can be used for boys too. A good name, nice sound and lovely meaning.

I know a young boy called Eden and a baby girl Eden. I feel its more feminine.

I've never met an Eden but a friend has a goddaughter called Eden Savannah. I've heard of Eden Kane too, and I think it would make an equally good name for either sex, as it's so rare for either that it doesn't really seem to have become strongly associated with one or the other.

Eden is the name me and OH chose if we had a little girl although there is a boy with that name at DS's nursery. It's definitely a girls name for me though.
