Just that really. I love Arthur for ds 2. (Ds1 is William) but just wondering what nick names or shortenings people use?

Art is the classic choice.
Thor (from thur ending)

Or something totally unrelated to his name...

There is no reason a nn has to be based on a name.

I was called bubbles for years at work, as I was always smiling!

I know an 8 year old Arthur who is just Arthur!

Art or Artie. I've also heard Arthie.

sebsmummy1 · 12/07/2015 11:59

I don't think I'd shorten it, it's lovely as it is.

My Arthur's called Bear. We called him Arthur Bear from birth - can't remember why - and now call him Bear, or Little Bear. I found out that Bear is a possible meaning for Arthur, so I think it's a pretty good nickname!
