What do people think? I'm liking it more and more. Cute but cool for when he's older. I have a Luke already.

Thanks in advance!

I have a Griffin that is called Griff by his mates. I think it is a fab name - not that I'm biased! Grin

Whatabout · 11/07/2015 15:34

I like it

MothershipG · 11/07/2015 15:34

Oh, but I should warn you his sister calls him Griffy to wind him up!

BeautifulBatman · 11/07/2015 15:35

Alas Smith and Jones is what springs to mind. Says something about how old I am Blush. But I actually really like the name Smile

BikeRunSki · 11/07/2015 15:50

I Iike it.

reuset · 11/07/2015 16:58

Fab nameGrin

Totality22 · 11/07/2015 18:46

I can see Griff becoming a MN fave but I'm afraid I am not a fan.... at all.

Least of all with a child who has quite a traditional and very nice but NORMAL name.

sweetpeame · 11/07/2015 18:52

I'm going against the grain to say I don't like it. At all. It sounds like "grip" which isn't a name. In fact Griff doesn't sound like a name either.

turtlemania6 · 11/07/2015 22:01

Thanks for the feedback, seems really positive on the whole. I'm not too worried that it sounds like grip, I think ppl know the difference between a name and a word. I think we'd go with the ff spelling but could be open to other versions

NoArmaniNoPunani · 12/07/2015 00:01

Sounds like a word for fart.

TheOldestCat · 12/07/2015 00:03

I had a friend called Griff (short for Griffith) and it was a lovely name for a lovely man.

I am Welsh, although not Welsh speaking. The Griff I knew was also Welsh but lived in England.

FAB name.

CakeRattleandRoll · 12/07/2015 02:15

Great name. I had Griffith (nn Griff) on my list if DD had been DS.

Love it.

teachpeach · 12/07/2015 06:36
