Hi :) I already have a 4 year old DD named Olivia Grace and I'm currently pregnant with DC 2 my other halves name is ray and is quite traditionally been passed down however we are going to put it as a middle name rather than first. We have Freddie Ray for a boy first name after my grandad but we are stuck on girls names! We love Isla Rae, Poppy Rae and I also think the name Scarlett is quite nice but the other 2 we both like obviously needs to go with Olivia opinions please?:)

I like Isla the best but it's a bit of a tongue twister for me to say with Olivia...but then you wont be saying them as a twosome forever. I know everyone has different taste, but I hate Poppy - it really is a pet's name and fine for a baby but it's really too cutesy for my taste. I'm not a fan of Scarlett either but it goes well enough with Olivia and Rae as a middle name.

Freddy is nice.

Freddie is a good choice.

Also like Isla best. Though Island would have been interesting Grin

emmalouise90 · 06/07/2015 23:05

lol! The only thing that put me off Isla was island and isle of white ???? Isla Rae was our first choice but was worried it would get pronounced iz-la :( like phoebe but my aunties cat was phoebe so puts me off lol xx

What do you mean you prefer the spelling Isla? is that in reference to th suggestion of Ailsa? They are two completely different names that are pronounced differently, not alternative spellings of the same name.

emmalouise90 · 07/07/2015 18:19

How do u pronounce the other one x

cece · 07/07/2015 18:23

Sadie Rae

WankerDeAsalWipe · 07/07/2015 20:26

Isla is Eye la

Ailsa is Ale sah

RiverTam · 07/07/2015 20:27

I think Isla doesn't go with Olivia. Scarlett Rae is good, though.

emmalouise90 · 07/07/2015 23:29

It doesn't have to go with Olivia just meant as my daughters name is Olivia grace don't want it to sound strange together as sisters if makes sense ? X
