Help with Boys names please!

It was so easy with DD1, we had so many girls names we liked - really struggling this time, now we know its a boy!

It's not that DH and I can't agree on names per se, more like we are lacking inspiration and are yet to find a name we both think "yes, that's it!". We aren't looking for anything out there in terms of names, but equally some of the ones in our current list are pretty traditional/common - maybe that doesn't matter though! aargh.

Anyway names that we both think are ok are:

Oliver
James (I like both of these - but v common?)
Max (but I don't like the longer versions that much, e.g. Maximillion, Maxwell etc - can it just be "Max"?)
Jasper (OH likes, not so keen)
Parker (as above!)
Thomas (meh)

Any suggestions for me? I'd be very grateful! Feel bit sad for unborn DS1 that I can't think of a good name for him :(

The names on your list are good names, that's why they are so popular, well, mostly. I really don't like Parker and Jasper is a bit "posh" for my taste and yes, you can have just Max :)
