I like Verity, the others not so much. They don't feel like real names to me.

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman · 27/06/2015 12:00

Verity is lovely.

The other two remind me of the contraceptive pill for some reason.

bridgetsmummy · 27/06/2015 12:04

Verity is the best

The other 2 I've never heard of. Are they real names or made up? They sound made up

seaoflove · 27/06/2015 12:06

Verity is nice.

The other two are surnames with an A tacked on. One of them is MY surname, incidentally!

Zakken · 27/06/2015 12:07

Verity is a clear winner there.

If you like Lovella (which I've never come across) have you considered Lavinia?

NomiMalone · 27/06/2015 12:11

I don't like Verity at all but it is the obvious choice next to the other two names.

Norvella sounds like Novella with a typo.

Lovella sounds like a wedding dress shop.

Both sound 100% made up.

PotOfYoghurt · 27/06/2015 12:13

Or a sex toy shop.

IsadoraQuagmire · 27/06/2015 12:21

Verity's the only nice one. The others definitely sound like products of some sort.

susurration · 27/06/2015 12:23

Norvella and Lovella sound like vomiting bugs!

RattleAndRoll · 27/06/2015 12:26

I agree with the others.

ShadowFire · 27/06/2015 12:35

Verity.

Agree with everyone else about the other two. The other two also look like they should sound very similar. Are you keen on names ending in "ella" or "vella"?

BackforGood · 27/06/2015 12:37

I don't really like the name Verity either, but it's streets ahead of the other two.

Onemilliongal · 27/06/2015 13:20

Thanks ladies, i didn't think I would struggle to get a name , the search continues !

I've never come across Norvella or Lovella. How about Loveday instead?

reuset · 27/06/2015 14:14

I read that as Novella at first, the other name sounds like a pudding. Verity is ok

FraggleHair · 27/06/2015 15:22

Balonzella.

WorldsBiggestGrotbag · 27/06/2015 15:25

Verity. The other 2 sound like medication.

WinterOfOurDiscountTents15 · 27/06/2015 15:35

Only one of them is a name, so pick that if it has to be one of them.

MamaLazarou · 27/06/2015 16:28

Verity. The other two are awful!

spiderlight · 27/06/2015 16:34

Grin FraggleHair

I like Verity. The other two are awful, sorry.

FenellaFellorick · 27/06/2015 16:35

Verity

MehsMum · 27/06/2015 16:41

Norvella sounds like a wart cream, Lovella more like a foundation.
Sorry...

babymouse · 27/06/2015 16:42

Verity is nice.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/06/2015 17:30

Norvella sounds like diarrhea medicine . Lovella sounds like condoms.

Verity is lovely.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 27/06/2015 17:45

Don't like any. Verity is the best of an horrendous bunch
Norvella is actually making my think of Nutella.
Lovella yes I agree with pp. it sounds like a make of condoms.
None of my business people can call their kids what they please but have people get an aversion to not giving their kids unusual names now.
If you're wanting to be unique use something like. Ann,Catherine, Helen, Michelle or Lisa. Names on that line, I guarantee you won't find many if any of those in a class
