So...

I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy (1st). And for the last 7-8months our baby names have been Esmee Summer and Connor Alexander. But my fella came home one day and said (as men do) i've been thinking! And said changing the bubbas name to Connor Gabriel! Gabriel being the name of my father. So i've been saying Connor Gabriel out loud for days and it's just not sitting right with me. I dont know if it's because I was so used to Connor Alexander, or not. During a bbq, someone mentioned of changing the name from Connor to Gabriel Alexander, as much as I love the name Gabriel I just cant get used to it. I think a few family relatives (on my side) may twitch the nose at it, my father on the other hand would love it!. What dya think?

Connor Alexander
Connor Gabriel
Gabriel Alexander?

PS the last name is Ramsey.

Go with your gut. I like Connor Alexander best, but you both need to be happy with what is decided Smile

I have no idea!

Somehow threads keep appearing with the message. :S. Will admit to creating two, due to the spelling mistake on the first!

Thanx, chocfireguard. Connor Alexander is my gut (I think) or could just be bubba telling me to stick with the name!

That is odd! Best to report the duplicates (click on the three dots at the bottom right of your post if you're on a phone) and get them deleted. Technology does have a mind of its own every now and again.

No problem! Both your name combos are really nice by the way Smile and go with what you like. My mother wasn't keen on a name my sister used for my niece but my sis had never regretted it. You're the one who will be yelling it out down the street at tea time so you're the one who needs to like it.

Thanx. It is a hard one for the laddy name!. Had no trouble or discussion for the lassy. Growing up I did always think my first son would have Gabriel in the name somewhere. My fellas not really being a help, as he's happy with both, and he just said, whatever we dont use Gabriel / Alexander, we'll save for the next one! Men really have no idea what being pregnant is like do they!
