Which spelling do you think looks "right"?

Caspar.

They both look right as in they're both completely acceptable. They come from Gaspar though and so I always think I'd go with the older version. I much prefer it and it isn't the friendly ghost either.

Fab name.

Ah - thanks - I thought Caspar too! Smile. DP really likes this name and I think I do too although not COMPLETELY sold on it. Very, very early days anyway, but I find it hard not to think of names as soon as I see a positive test!

Caspar

Casper looks more recognisable to me.

CaptainAnkles · 05/06/2015 11:52

I prefer the way it looks with an E

florascotia · 05/06/2015 13:02

As Saul says, Caspar is the original spelling.

Congratulations Smile

I have a Caspar, but be warned I often have to correct the spelling we use from Casper. I also know a Kaspar as a variant on the theme...

Taranta · 05/06/2015 17:17

Oh, and we've never had a friendly ghost issue either Wink

SaulGood · 05/06/2015 19:56

I don't think most people think of the friendly ghost. I think of the biblical magi.

I had Caspar on my list when I had DS.

Caff2 · 05/06/2015 23:18

Ah, thanks all! I'm warming to the name quite a lot, I think I do really prefer the a spelling though. Not bothered about correcting it, I always have to give the right spelling of mine on the phone etc and it's no bother Smile
