Hello

Ds1 is due Monday and I'm struggling with names!

I love strong old fashioned names my daughter is Ruby elizabeth.

I ideally wanted a name that could be initials eg Thomas Joseph TJ.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Whats wrong with Thomas Joseph? Grin

Do you have any ideas so we can perhaps know more about what you already like? You've cast quite a wide net!

My initial thought just off your thread title was Henry but that doesn't really fit with your initials requirement.
John Joseph - JJ maybe?

Peter James or Peter Joseph

My first thought for what sounds good with Ruby was Jake or Jacob. So you could then have another J as a middle name?

Farahilda · 07/06/2015 08:39

Same old-fashioned vibe as a Ruby?

BB: Barry Benjamin, Bruce Benjamin
AJ: Arnold Jeffrey
CK: Cuthbert Kingsley

Or the MNetty DS: Derek Simon

Benjamin James

Purpleflamingos · 07/06/2015 09:43

My first thought was Haydn. Not really suitable for an initial nn though.

Asa james (AJ)

I was just about to say Thomas.

What's wrong with those names in your first post?

fionadal · 07/06/2015 21:27

My husband is Joseph James and is often known as JJ. Think these two initials go well together as a " name".
