Help with boys names

Hi,

Struggling a bit with boys names. Would ideally like a longish name that can be shortened, classic, doesn't date or age. At the moment I quite like Michael, Christopher and Daniel. Opinions?

Or any other suggestions? Can't use Alexander, James, William or Richard.

I really like Benjamin, but unsure on Ben.

Andrew, Edward and Patrick going on the list. Why I hadn't thought of those before I don't know. Pre-baby brain maybe!

How about Reginald.... Shortened to Reggie or Reg!

I'm finding most boys names to be a bit boring/run of the mill... Am struggling!

All your names are lovely. Such a refreshing change from all those daft faddy names.
Not that kean on Daniel but it's still nice name.
Be nice to see Christopher making a come back
