Outdated or ahead of the curve?

A lady in my ante natal class has just called her twins Amanda and Denise. Not horrid names but unusual for now? What do you think?

I knew a few Amandas when i was at school a few years ago; not too popular now but not like...OUT there. Denise is awfulthough

I like Denise but then I like the names Barrie and Bryan too.

I've never been a fan of names like Amanda and Deborah but I think that they are coming back. I heard a little girl being called Susan the other day.

I was chewing over the idea of calling a baby Bernard last night.

I think Denise is beautiful. It's dd's middle name.
