Is this a name that people will confuse spelling and pronunciation?
Does it go with older sisters - Isabelle and Eliza? X

Pronunciation you'll be fine with I think.

A lot of people seem to confuse which way round the o and the e go but not so much that it would an actual issue.

Think it fits well with your older girls names.

tinymeteor · 26/05/2015 14:59

Great name, goes beautifully with the others. The spelling is well known, and I can't think how else you'd pronounce it. Go for it

ClaudetteWyms · 26/05/2015 15:02

Lovely name, but often misspelled (I know a Phoebe). Everyone can pronounce it, goes beautifully with other names.

reuset · 26/05/2015 15:29

It fits in great. Good strong name. Pronunciation I see no issue, but spelling you'll get the occasional Pheobe or even Phoebie, I suppose, but most will know how to spell I would hope

MargeryDaw · 26/05/2015 19:12

Lovely name. Goes perfectly with sibling names. I don't understand why anyone would find it difficult to pronounce as it's classic and we'll known. I wouldn't worry about the minority who can't spell it as someone who can't spell Phoebe probably isn't very good at spelling anyway

DeathMetalMum · 26/05/2015 19:18

Lovely name - though I'm biased. Wink You will get people checking the spelling o and e get mixed up and occasionally the wrong way round. No issue with the pronunciation, and rarely gets shortened by others too.

Marcipex · 26/05/2015 19:53

I like it. I only know one; she's called Beefy though.

Jemimapuddlemuck · 26/05/2015 19:56

I love it but friends who have one say her name is constantly spelt incorrectly, even by family!

Jemimapuddlemuck · 26/05/2015 19:57

That said, it wouldn't put me off. And goes very nicely with your other DDs.

Icedfinger · 26/05/2015 20:22

I love it but am biased Wink

The nicknames she gets are Phoebe jeebies and Phebes.

goodnessgraciousgouda · 27/05/2015 11:18

I think it's a lovely name, I'm not sure why it would cause any pronunciation problems, and it goes well with the other names you mention.

Purpleball · 27/05/2015 11:18

I love it but I'm not allowed to use it cos DH doesn't bastard
