Hate it sorry, sounds like a stripper's name

Allthatnonsense · 21/05/2015 22:50

A bit American. Are you American?

Sophronia · 21/05/2015 23:01

Not keen. Agree that it sounds American.

lastqueenofscotland · 21/05/2015 23:19

I really like it actually.

Unusual/uncommon without being out there weird.

DampAndRotten · 21/05/2015 23:35

I know an adult Brooke. She seems quite a cold, harsh person and I always thought her name suited her, so I really don't like it.

Sorry.

WankerDeAsalWipe · 21/05/2015 23:45

I know one girl one and one boy one - I don't really like it, it's a bit harsh and a bit "common".

Zzzsnatcher · 21/05/2015 23:51

It's a bit common and harsh sounding

getbusyliving · 21/05/2015 23:54

I think of the stunningly beautiful Brooke Shields, when I hear the name.

The name does have an American 80's vibe to it and you half expect her sister to be called Paige but it's as good a name as any and if you like it go for it

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 21/05/2015 23:59

It's not About what we the world Snd indeed his wife likes. That's not important. It's your baby and with names you can please some of the people some of the time but not all the people All the time,
The fact that you're asking about the name shows you like it so go for it.

FWIW. I think it's pretty

FatWalda · 22/05/2015 01:57

It is a surname.

yesiwouldlikefrieswiththat · 22/05/2015 07:08

Thanks all Smile

No I'm not American but the name is English anyway

Still on the fence...
