Hi! I am not ward3 I am her friend Elizabeth from the USA (Chicago), and I'm using hers because I'm not sure if I can even make a mumsnet account.

My DH and I are expecting our 5th really soon and we think we've picked a great name, but I always love to run our names through. For the others, we've been criticised by some but others love it. I hope you wouldn't mind maybe giving some input on each name- not sure why I love hearing things so much (good and bad) but I find it satisfying.

Aria Elaina (9)
Effie Cecelia (6)
Lillith Lorraine (4)
Milo Stephen Lars (3)
And for # 5 we like Edgar Owen

The only name I will say I am not too keen on is Milo, but DH was set on it and his other choices were, in my opinion, tragic. (Lochlan and Tréoris)

So... Thoughts?

Really not keen on Edgar - sorry. Very old manish (not in a good way) and the sound kind of jars iyswim.

Owen is fab though.

Edgar is fab! I really like it and think it fits with your other names which are all pretty.

Assuming you want your 5th to grow up to be a mad cat-napping butler, go with Edgar. Otherwise I'd rethink it.

I like Edgar Owen a lot, great name!

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 18/05/2015 00:15

Out of interest, why did Milo get three names and everyone else two? Grin.

I really like Owen - but really not Edgar, sorry. Edwin is OK, we met a toddler Edwin on holiday last year & the name really suited him. Although, if you're set on Owen for a middle name, then Edwin Owen doesn't flow so well.
