Koala, it's a real name. A famous (male) Roman writer or poet from around 1st century BC if I recall correctly. Also one of the Thunderbirds from the children's TV program.

Having a name that stands out, for the wrong reasons, won't make you any less ordinary...

If you've studied Latin you'll have come across Virgil probably at some point. Still doesn't make it a good name for your average person in the UK.

Wyatt Earp's brother was called Virgil. I don't dislike it. if you like it that's all that matters.
