Sibling for Luke

Stuck for ideas, we loved the name Luke for our little boy (and still do!) but wouldn't necessarily want to pick another traditional name.
Names we like for a girl:
Nina
Bonnie
Lara
Lottie
For a boy;
Joe
Ernest
Ralph

That's as far as we've got! Worried about the name going nicely with Luke, any thoughts/ideas welcome. Thanks!

I love Lara

Nina and Joe are nice.

Bonnie and Lottie are okay.

Really don't like Ernest and Ralph.

I think Luke goes with most things - although perhaps nothing too frilly or 'posh'.

I know Luke's with siblings called:
Angus, Jordan (girl), Orlando, Fiona and Cosmo

I like Nina and Lara. I'm not massively keen on your boys names though.

I love all of your names except for Joe and Nina. Lara is beautiful. Ralph is just adorable. I always wanted a Norah, which is quite unusual but i see it as feminine and graceful. I think I've listened to too much Norah Jones. x

Thanks ladies, like the suggestion of Nancy. A few names there that we can't use for one reason or another. Interesting to see real life sibling names. Lara and Nina are definite forerunners which seem to be liked here (on the whole). Boys names much more difficult. Any other suggestions, boys or girls? Thanks, grateful for the feedback!

I do like Lara but personally wouldn't have another L name (but that's probably just me!).

Nina & Joe are good.

First thoughts were Adam or Ben; Sofia or Georgia.

I know a Luke with brother Callum, and one with sister Ciara. Luke and Lara might open you up to Star Wars gags but that's pretty harmless.

Lara and Lottie are nice but not keen with Luke, you will be calling dcs names together a lot and double L's esp. Lottie and Luke sound funny to my ears?? so out of the pick I'd choose Nina

I really love Ralph for a boy and it's my favourite from your list but I don't think it fits as well with Luke as the name Joe does.
I don't like the name Ernest but Ernie and Luke sound ok together IMO

So much easier naming the first DC isn't it?

Ds1 middle name is Luke. His brothers' middle names are Roy and David
