DS1 is called Harry, it was DP's choice more than mine so we've agreed that I will name DC2 and he will choose a middle name, here's what I've liked so far, what's your opinions? Feel free to add any! Smile

Finlay (Finn),
McKenzie,
Ellis,
Lucas,
Miles,
Jacob

Darcey,
Grace,
Erin,
Maya,
Jasmine,
Yasmin,
Phoebe

I like Miles, Lucas, Jacob, Grace, Maya (prefer Maia), Jasmine and Yasmin. Miles and Grace are my favourites from the list.

InfiniteJest · 28/04/2015 09:50

Favourites are Yasmin and Ellis. Second are Jasmine and Miles.

BunnyLebowski · 28/04/2015 09:53

Ellis is great (I also love it for a girl)

Finn/Finlay is so done to death in these parts that I'm bored of it.

Jasmin is pretty.

Not keen on the rest.

TempsPerdu · 28/04/2015 11:07

My picks would be Ellis, and either Jasmine, Maya/Maia or Phoebe. I like Finn but not Finlay, and the huge popularity of both would put me off.

IvoryMadonna · 28/04/2015 12:52

Miles is great, given the extra significance. I would look no further.

I like Grace best of the girls' names, but it's a bit of a gamble in case it doesn't suit her, iykwim! Grin

May I suggest another 'virtue' name which is very underused? Mercy.

Sort of a cross between Grace, Maya and Darcey

OneMagnumisneverenough · 28/04/2015 13:17

Miles or Phoebe for me.

manicinsomniac · 28/04/2015 16:08

Finlay (Finn), - really like it
McKenzie, - like it for a girl, less so for a boy. It seems feminine to me.
Ellis, - really like it and quite different too
Lucas, - it's ok
Miles, - don't like this at all
Jacob - like it. Nickname Jake is cute too.

Darcey, - really like it but mainly because the 2 I know are adorable I think
Grace, - really like it but would worry about the child being ungraceful!
Erin, - really like it
Maya, - really like it. Would pronounce May-a with this spelling?
Jasmine, - quite like it
Yasmin, - quite like it
Phoebe - quite like it

Ellis and Erin would be my picks I think

My favourites are Finn or Lucas and Grace or Maya.

The others are nice too - just not quite as nice in my opinion. Though I know 2 girls called McKenzie, which would take it off your boys list for me.

CPtart · 28/04/2015 16:52

Finlay- loads about
McKenzie- chavvy (sorry)
Ellis - a bit wet
Lucas - loads about. Luke is much better.
Miles - a bit wet too. Dislike.
Jacob - a nice classic but not massively exciting.

Darcey- loads about. Very faddy.
Grace - loads about. Dull.
Erin - a fab name. Love it.
Maya- loads about. Too many variations of the same.
jasmine - quite nice. Pretty.
Yasmin - ok.
Phoebe - meh.

Definitely Erin, and Jacob at a push.

bluechameleon · 28/04/2015 16:56

Jacob and Erin

sweetpeame · 28/04/2015 19:31

I LOVE Miles!!! It's top of my list for DS, just working on DH to agree Wink. I also like Finn although not keen on Finlay so much. Loads of people will say Finn is too popular but I still like it. Jacob is nice too. Not so keen on your girls names with the exception of Grace which is pretty and fairly timeless.

Madbengalmum · 28/04/2015 19:32

Like finn and phoebe
Darcey is a bit chavvy
