A good middle name for...

DH and I love the name Gaia.

We had pretty much decided on a middle name, Rose... But it's very common these days as a middle name.

Any suggestions very welcome!

Surname in two syllables stating with M.

Do you want to carry on the earthy/naturey theme ?

Rowan, Ocean, Iris?

Or one your/the baby's grandmother's names?

Rose is fine too though. Maybe the commons offsets the uncommonness of Gaia?

Probably not, would prefer something more classical and feminine, so Rose seemed perfect. Just don't want to feel that we're being completely unimaginative!

Gaia Mae?

Mae is pretty... But a bit twee for me (perhaps Rose is too though).

Hmmm not so keen on many of those I'm afraid. Dawn has tickled my fancy, I also like Eve, but it doesn't roll off the tongue very easily!
