Hi ladies,

I just posted this in 'pregnancy' not seeing this but I dont have a middle name picked out if I have a girl and really want her to have one. We have decided on Elsie if its a girl and her sir name will be Whalley pronounced wall-ee

With a first name and a surname that are both two syllables, I'd go for a longer middle name to balance it out.

Alexandra
Josephine
Madeleine
Victoria

Tbh I'd avoid a first name ending in an 'e' sound as it clashes quite badly IMHO.

I agree with switchitoff about the longer middle name though Elsie Alexandra is nice :)

I agree with the longer names.

Thanks ladies you have given me some ideas xx

I agree with shitebag, I don't think it sounds good when both the first name and surname end with an -ee sound. I would choose the slightly more formal Elsa, and use Elsie as an informal pet name.
