My list is forever changing due to OH not liking many girls names.
I have a Charlie (boy) and a Tilly and would prefer the name to fit in with this style. ( I like nn type names with an old feel to them). Names I like: Amelie, Darcey, Tess, Marcie, Marnie, Mamie, Elodie, Dulcie, Bonnie, Blythe. OH not too keen on these.

Names we can agree on....
Mae or Maeve, Flora, Kitty or possibly Rose (we can't use Rosie)

Which do you prefer? And which 'fits' the sibset?
Any other variations or names please feel free to add :)

Maeve and Rose are my favourites.
I think Kitty goes best with Charlie and Tilly

It's not everyone's taste but I love Amelie. DD1 was very almost called this. I also like Flora and Rose from your list. Not keen on Maeve, it's very common in Ireland (appreciate you probably live in the UK), have never heard Mae used as a nn for it (although you might not have been suggesting that?). To me Maeve and Mae are two completely different names. Would use Katherine nn Kitty rather than Kitty on it's own. Not keen on your other names.

BrambleBee · 18/04/2015 11:01

Think Mae or Rose goes best with your DC names. Prefer Rosa to Rose though.

Also really like Amelie and it goes well with the sibset. Is DH definitely against it?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/04/2015 15:01

Love Maeve. Or Kitty as nn for Catherine.

KipperTheFish · 18/04/2015 15:05

I really like Tess, Flora, and Rose. I LOVE Kitty, but as a nn for Katherine. Dh not keen, but I am working on him!

Bowlersarm · 18/04/2015 15:13

You have similar name tastes to me, and my absolute three favourite girls names on your last, but we had three boys.

I love Marnie, Kitty and Flora.

Charlie, Tilly and Flora

Charlie, Tilly and Kitty.

Charlie, Tilly and Marnie

Possibly - although I wouldn't discount it - Tilly and Kitty are a bit rhymey and matchey, as are Charlie and Marnie. So I'd go with Flora.

Bowlersarm · 18/04/2015 15:15

As a suggestion, Freya was also on our list, but I don't think I like it as much now.

weebarra · 18/04/2015 15:15

Really like Tess and Flora.

DramaAlpaca · 18/04/2015 15:40

The names I like best with Charlie & Tilly are Flora & Tess.

Rhubarbgarden · 18/04/2015 19:29

Flora.

Allalonenow · 18/04/2015 19:39

I love Maeve and Flora, also like Dulcie very much and it's little used these days.
I wouldn't use Rose/Rosa as they are hugely popular ATM.

Allalonenow · 18/04/2015 19:41

I think Tilly and Kitty are to close in sound to be used together.

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 19/04/2015 11:38

Kitty and Flora are my favourites (I would use Katherine nn Kitty personally, but I actually think Kitty is fine as a name in its own right if you prefer that).

I really like Maeve but it doesn't go so well with your Dc's names

Rose is lovely but my worry would be that she'd end up as Rosie which I don't like (it's a bit boring and I've met quite a few annoying Rosies!)

Really dislike Mae, it just sounds like a cold, hard, modern name to me.. May is better, but still not nearly as nice as your other choices.

Teachermummy27 · 20/04/2015 18:50

We had Dulcie on our list along with Phoebe, Saskia, and Blythe.

We ended up with a Lois!

Allthatnonsense · 20/04/2015 19:12

Mae or Kitty
