Definitely having a girl and love the name Tabitha. I also love Thea but need some outside perspective.

I have one so am biased, but it's lovely Smile Also know a Thea and love that too.

TwllBach · 11/04/2015 14:36

I love the name Tabitha, I don't think it's too old at all!

fluffybee · 11/04/2015 14:44

DS would have been Tabitha if he'd been a girl - it's a lovely classical but under-used name.

I think Tabitha is definitely not to old, it's pretty and not very common. I have met one child called Tabitha and she was gorgeous and very bright :) Never met a Thea, but I also think this name and it's meaning is beautiful and not common also.

Love Tabitha, it was second on my list for DD, but was vetoed by DH (along with my first choice). Thea is OK, but much prefer Tabitha.

timelyreminder · 11/04/2015 15:33

I prefer Thea to Tabitha.

dragdownthemoon · 11/04/2015 18:12

Tabitha is a gorgeous name. Love it.

Sophronia · 11/04/2015 20:16

Tabitha is lovely and I much prefer it to Thea.

calzone · 11/04/2015 20:36

Love both names. Smile

maggiethemagpie · 11/04/2015 20:50

Isn't it a cat's name?

Icedfinger · 11/04/2015 20:50

Love it!!

MaudGonneAway · 11/04/2015 20:53

Jesus, there's always one who bobs up with "Isn't it a cat's name?'

Tabitha and Thea are both lovely, OP. All the Tabithas I know are under five.

Bellejournee · 11/04/2015 20:56

This was on our list for a girl. Absolutely love it, didn't ever hear it being used, but lately it seems to be increasing in popularity. If still use it if we have a girl next time though ;-) Thea very pretty too!

BigSister1989 · 12/04/2015 08:33

I know a little Tabitha (known as Tabby), it's a lovely name.

That said, I have a real soft spot for Thea!

Limer · 12/04/2015 08:34

Not too old. Too feline.

ditavonteesed · 12/04/2015 08:34

I have a tabitha (Tabi) and she is definatly getting too old. Never had anyting but positive responses to her name and she loves it.

BossWitch · 12/04/2015 08:37

Tabitha is lovely but it is a bit 'cat'. Thea is also gorgeous but fewer options for nicknames.

ginzillas · 12/04/2015 08:56

Love Tabitha. Not too old at all.
