Stuck on what MN to use for Eve. I would like to use family names, but I am open to other suggestions.
So far we have...
Eve Amanda
Eve Matilda (big sister is a Tilly though, thought this maybe weird?)
Eve Gillian
Eve Violet
Eve Margaret (or Pearl)
Eve Jane
Eve Alexandra

I think Eve Matilda is gorgeous and even sweeter that a sibling has a similar name.

My DS MN are after his dad and uncle, I often wonder how we will get round it if we have another boy and think probably we'll use his dad's name again plus DS'

I like Matilda as we have lost a few babies, I want the name to be very special and meaningful.
Eve means life and Matilda - battle mighty fits what I am looking for.
Just not sure if people would think it strange to use the longer version of my daughters name as a mn?

Are you completely set on Eve?

I like Eve Margaret

At the moment we are set on Eve, we want a special meaning and Eve means life which we agree is perfect for what we are looking for :)

We also like Eva but slightly prefer Eve. I did like a longer version Evelyn meaning 'wished for child' which I thought was brilliant (but having other people's opinions on this put me off).
We both found girls names harder as all the beautiful meaning names are taken by family and friends.
We also had Esme and Felicity (OH vetoed this!) on our list. But we liked the simplicity of Eve. And I work with children and haven't met any Eve's.

I love the name Eve. I wanted to name my DD3 Eve but called her Anna instead as already used by close friend. I have no suggestions other than to say don't follow it with another single syllable name.

I do like Eve but right now would only use it if I adored the name. I fall in the camp of more unusual names. Variations of Eve - Evangeline, Evie, Eva, Evelyn, etc... Together with Ava, are extremely popular. There are two Evas, two Evies and one Eve in small circle of friends. There are several in Dds class. I would avoid for that reason and only bring it up for your consideration as you may not be aware.

Other names that mean life -

Vivian
Zoe
Enid
